As a child, our parents used to scare us with Baba Yaga and Koshchei the immortal, terrible otherworldly heroes. But what if they really can get off the pages of books? What if everyone can become some kind of mythological character?
Then you should pay attention to the new iPad collection of the DAS brand, because the dark stories of Slavic fairy tales became the basis for creating a clothing line. Forest spirits and individual characters of the "outer" world – midwives, mermaids, mermaids and other dangerous guides between worlds, bringing with them both good and destruction, have now become part of our modern world.

On March 2, a show of the young DAS brand was held in the Arena, which was opened by singer Maria Kon. This is the second appearance of the guys, previously their line was presented at the Moscow Fashion Week 2022 in Zaryadye. In two years, the team, consisting of three designers: Daria Losis, Alexandra Dolgopolova and Daria Fedunova, was able to develop their main concept: “revealing your own self through various elements of clothing.”

The work is based on the principle of deconstruction, which is used not only in the form of things, but also in materials, completely replacing their very essence by dissolving, repainting and reshaping. By placing such elements in the traditional concept of a fairy tale, DAS were able to get the feeling of incongruity they needed, mixing the past with the present and the future.
The design team also said that Moscow Fashion Week was a great opportunity to put on a real show and make even the guards open their mouths in surprise. In total, twenty–six images for spring and summer were presented. Although it is worth noting that most of the clothes are knitted, which means they are suitable for any time of the year. Despite the insomnia, exhaustion, the girls withstood the show and made a splash! Did they expect such a reaction? “Somewhere deep down, of course, I wanted to. After all, when you do a great job and do it for a long time, with sweat and tears, then, of course, you want to achieve such a result.” The most memorable moment was the exit of a guy and a girl. This has probably never happened before. Recognition turned out to be a big and pleasant surprise for DAS. For example, a girl in a skirt of their brand walked around the hall. In the future, the guys are planning projects “bigger, cooler and more conceptual”!
