As part of the penultimate 29th round of the MIR RPL, decisive games took place between the leaders of the table in which: Dynamo secured itself in first place until the next round, Krasnodar sent Sochi to MELBET First League, and Zenit was defeated by Akhmat and remained in 2nd place in the table. Dynamo – Krylia Sovetov
On May 18, Dynamo played its last home match of the 23/24 season and defeated Krylya Sovetov with a score of 4:1, thereby securing first place in the standings until the next round.
From the very beginning of the meeting, the guests from Samara dominated the ball (71 to 29), which allowed them to create very unpleasant moments for the stadium's hosts. But Dynamo’s well-played defense allowed them to intercept the ball perfectly and run in the opposite direction, towards the opponent’s goal. It was there that the Muscovites earned themselves a free kick, which would have gone perfectly into the goal if not for the magnificent save of Samara goalkeeper Lomaev, who parried Chavez’s shot. Then Ngamale has the opportunity to seal the opponent's goal, but the ball flies out of bounds. The result was a corner, from which Balbuena scored point-blank into the goal and opened the scoring.
The Muscovites are gradually taking away the advantage from their opponents, but they have not yet been able to do this completely in the first half. Krylia Sovetov, who received a free kick in the 40th minute, scored with Gorshkov's kick and equalized the score in the first half. The first half of the match ends with this score.
The beginning of the second half foreshadowed that the score obtained in the first half would definitely not be maintained. This was confirmed by Dynamo Moscow players who scored their second goal of this meeting again with a shot from Balbuena. Lomaev tried to reach the ball, but he only slightly touched it with his hand.
After conceding the goal, the game of the Samara team became quite dubious; the players seemed lost on the field, as a result of which they conceded the third goal from Bitello, whose ball landed perfectly on his foot at the moment when Lomaev came out of his goal.
Ngamale scored the final point in this match, scoring the fourth goal against the Krylia Sovetov goalkeeper in stoppage time from the referee. The outcome of the meeting turned out to be very successful for Dynamo.
Sochi – Krasnodar
The Krasnodar team simply snatched a very important victory from the hands of Sochi. Both teams fought for victory, because a win would allow Sochi to remain in the RPL, and would give Krasnodar a chance to continue the championship race in the season finale.
From the very beginning of the first half, Krasnodar took possession of the ball and gained good space and promising opportunities on the field. This is exactly what helps him open the scoring already in the 5th minute, with a shot from Nikita Krivtsov. The feed was made from an earned corner. Victor Sa became the assistant.
But Krasnodar failed to maintain the advantage of possession for long. Sochi also got its chances at the opponent’s penalty area and theoretically was at Matvey Safonov’s goal for the same amount of time as the Krasnodar team “visited” Rudakov
Towards the end of the first half, Sochi equalized the score with Guarirapa's shot on target. Matvey Safonov, frozen in his position, did not even reach for the ball; apparently this blow was unexpected for him, because from his position it seemed that the ball would fly out of the field. After all, this outcome does not please either side. Each is fighting for its own and preserving anyone’s is not a priority for anyone.
The second half starts very difficult for the opponents. Both teams are trying to take the dominant position of the match and score, but no one is in a hurry to concede the score of this confrontation.

Мозес, вышедший на 83 минуте, зарабатывает пенальти уже на 85. А на добавленных 90+1 выводит свою команду вперед и красиво завершает эту игру дав надежды своим болельщикам на борьбу за первое место.
Ахмат – Зенит
Кассьерра разгромил Ахмат в гостях пента-триком и сохранили свою борьбу в гонке за кубок РПЛ. Уверенное начло Зенитом первого тайма, дало возможность с первых секунд показать за кем будет преимущество на протяжении всей игры. Уже спустя пару минут первый гол встречи забивает Матео Кассьерра, а на 10 минуте оформляет дубль.
Ахмат очень потерялся в начале, видимо он воспринял игру как товарищескую, а не боевую, но все же смог войти в темп и по чуть-чуть перетягивать владение мячом на себя. Это дало возможность Конате отыграть один мяч на 11 минуте.
Уже на середине тайма хозяева смогли чуть сравнять во владении, но Зенит такой исход не устроил по этому на перерыв они отправились со счетом 1:3.
Второй тайм для петербуржцев оказался победным. На 46 и 51 минуте Кассьерра забил еще 2 мяча в ворота Опарина и лишил хозяев сравнять счет матча. Ближе к концу второй половины встречи Ахмат начал создавать чуть больше моментов, которые к сожалению для них ни к чему не привели.
Игра завершилась со счетом 1:5. Кассьерра оформил первый за 26 лет в РПЛ пента-трик и дал команде возможность забрать первенство лиги.
Итог
Интрига чемпионской гонки сохранится до 30 тура, там и решится кто возьмет титул РПЛ 23/24.
