Marriage is not just a union of a man and a woman, but also a legally significant event. From the moment of marriage, spouses receive the status of spouses and have certain duties and rights established by family law.

The institution of marriage is a set of legal norms regulating relations on the conclusion, dissolution and recognition of marriage as invalid.

Nowadays, it is rare to meet a married couple who celebrates such an important day in their lives as a wedding anniversary. And not every family can boast of a long marriage. That is why the 75th anniversary of living together is called the crown wedding anniversary. I wonder how a couple manages to live so much time together, experiencing happy and joyful moments of life together, as well as difficulties and trials. Such people deserve universal respect and are a shining example for young couples.

Reward for a long marriage

At a meeting on October 18, deputies of the regional legislative assembly approved remuneration for married couples who have been married for a long time.

Amendments are being made to article 33 of the Social Code and adopted in the first reading.

Now spouses who have been married for 75 years will be able to receive benefits.

In August, Governor Alexander Beglov approved payments to families related to mobilization, in accordance with the Social Code. We are talking about a monthly allowance for a newborn without taking into account family income.

The co—author of the bill, Deputy Alexander Rzhanenkov, noted that there are not so many couples who have been married for 50, 60 and 70 years - only 33 families. And there are only two couples who have lived together for about 75 years. In honor of their wedding anniversaries, they will receive payments in the amount of one thousand rubles for each year of living together. Financing is carried out in half: at the expense of the budget of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

Rzhanenkov recalled that couples who have been married for more than 50 years, where both spouses are registered in St. Petersburg or the Leningrad region, already receive such payments for their anniversaries.

Receiving a payout

In order to receive the payment, the spouses must contact the social protection authorities or similar ones, like the MFC.

It is necessary to submit an application and provide certain documents confirming the identity of the spouses and their joint path. Passports of both spouses, a marriage certificate and a bank account number are required to transfer the payment. The application must be filled in according to the prescribed form.

You also need to get a copy of the decision to grant or refuse payment. This process can take up to 30 days.

If the spouses have not received payments for previous anniversaries (provided that this happened no earlier than 2007), they have the right to apply for a payment, the amount of which will be set on the anniversary day.

The oldest married couple in Moscow

75 years of living together is incredible, but possible! This year, a married couple in Moscow celebrated their crowning wedding.

This is a unique case, a rarity in the modern world, for a marriage to last so long. That is why the anniversaries Nikolai and Ekaterina were invited to one of the capital's registry offices to attend a solemn ceremony held in their honor.

Nowadays there is no other couple in Moscow with such a long and rich family experience. The story of their acquaintance began at the wedding of other people, where Nikolai played the accordion, and Ekaterina was a bridesmaid. Despite the fact that they were still very young, they immediately broke out in passion for each other and soon decided to get married in 1932. Today, the couple is already 96 and 94 years old, respectively, and everyone around them is wondering where they get so much energy, cheerfulness and kindness from. Of course, they have grandchildren and great—grandchildren who also came to congratulate their older relatives on this wonderful anniversary - the couple has 3 sons, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
